Hi All!

Antony saying hello here. I'm the proud doggy dad of Sniffy, a Schnauzer Poodle cross. I'll post a pic...

Just the one dog in my house, and he's 4yo (almost). Thinking of getting a second puppy (Lab-X) but still in the thinking stage. Sniffy is only 18 pounds and getting a puppy that will soon be 80 pounds might put his nose out of joint, and he is, after all, Lord of the Manor.

I volunteer at my local shelter, helping to keep the kitties clean, and walk/clean the dogs. Just a few hours a week. Enough to keep me busy!

Hello & Welcome. I have a LhasaX with an Akita. He has been able to hold his own with her, she is about 70lb right now,give or take. I thought he wouldn't like big dogs ever since he was stepped by our next door neighbors giant poodle. He was scared of him ever since but he does fine with Kuma. I think a lot depends on the little one's personality. There are times when Wrigley will get irked with Kuma but usually they adore each other.

Welcome to the forum That's great that you volunteer at the shelter! That's something I would love to do if I can find some time. I myself have an 75 lb lab and a 12 lb mini dachshund mix. They had some trouble getting along at first but now they are like two peas in a pod. So it's not impossible!
