Just wanted to drop in and say hello and introduce you to Sonny...Our "what the heck is he?" dog.

Sonny found us last year as a puppy while I was taking out the trash. Well he grew and grew and here he is. Any idea what he is? In any event, he is our Sonny Boy and is a GREAT dog and member of our family now. I look forward to sharing him with you and learning much from all of you.

Very handsome. I'm not much good at guessing these big breeds - but for what it's worth I can see German Shepherd, Chow and maybe a bull type breed in him but the colouring is more labrador! Like I said, I'm no good with big dogs LOL. Look forward to seeing what the experts suggest!

Wow--got me mystified. My 1st impression is Lab but those ears definitely belong to another breed and right now I can only come up with German Shepherd or Malinois (1 of the 4 varieties of the Belgian Shepherd Dog) The face is sure a mixture---Wondering if there are several breeds combined in your dog!

Thanks guys...Yeah I think he has several in there. He is the best dog...a big puppy really. I am thinking of sending in a hair sample to get a DNA report back. I would love to know what make Sonny Sonny.

Hi gcfl, maybe he's some kind of a mixed breed. I think he's a mixed bred lab and german shepherd.
