I'm sorry to hear that! Do they know what caused it? I would think, not age?

A rolled up newspaper can be an effective training tool when used properly. For instance, use the rolled-up newspaper if your dog chews up something inappropriate or has a housebreaking accident. Bring the dog over to the destroyed object (or mess), then take the rolled-up newspaper and hit yourself over the head as you repeat the phrase,"I FORGOT TO WATCH MY DOG, I FORGOT TO WATCH MY DOG!"

Default scooby

hi...(cant get used to this site yet...lol)...its very common in danes... we took him to the vets 3 weeks ago, he started with a cough as though he had something he needed to get up, then on his walk he was only out 10 mins, he was panting so i brought him back, his heart was beating fast and breathing was laboured, vet said he has heart murmer and fluid on his lung....bit shocked never been ill in his life...on tabs now...springs about like a pup at times and sleeps a lot...otherwise no problem

I hope he manages well even with his condition. It's hard not getting down when our kids are sick. I think they tend to deal with it better then we do, thankfully! Yeah, it takes awhile to get used to the forum, then after a few weeks it'll be a piece of cake. And Welcome btw!!!
