Talking Newbie from Miami! Hey there!
Hey everyone, I'm new here! Just wanted to introduce myself.
I'm definitely a dog lover, specifically a Golden Retriever lover!

A rolled up newspaper can be an effective training tool when used properly. For instance, use the rolled-up newspaper if your dog chews up something inappropriate or has a housebreaking accident. Bring the dog over to the destroyed object (or mess), then take the rolled-up newspaper and hit yourself over the head as you repeat the phrase,"I FORGOT TO WATCH MY DOG, I FORGOT TO WATCH MY DOG!"

Yeah, I chuckled (happily) when I saw the word Golden Retriever! (Lange knows me well) Do you have a Golden(s) now? Aren't they the sweetest smiling breed you ever saw! Mine is part Cocker Spaniel though---a little smaller dog that way. But I love the Golden part the best. Do you have any pics to share? You can see one of mine--Had to put to sleep 10 months ago--heart disease---His name was Corky and you can see him in my albums on my profile page. Max (Paxer) is the pure Cocker Spaniel in with my pics of Corky. I rescued another of the same mix (Golden/Cocker) last Dec. and here are pics of her (Sami): Many "positions" of Sami

OMG! I just checked out your profile page and see you have a dog named Sammy too--The spelling of yours sounds male and mine--Sami- is a female. How old are your dogs? Sami was a stray so I have no history at all for her but she is prob. 10ish. Max-the cocker just turned 12 on April 1st.
