Hello
Hello all my name is Paul. My fiancee and I got a new pup a couple months ago from a rescue center. We don't have papers but were told our pup was an Australian Shepherd. I have my doubts but I was thinking about doing a DNA test. If any of you want to take a gander at what breed or mix Winston is go for it that would be great!
I have two pictures one when we got him in January at about 10 weeks of age and one more recently about 4-5 months of age.
I wanted to post them with this message but I guess I don't have enough posts(50) to post a link to show you what he looks like.

Paul, welcome.
Actually if you want to post a pic, reply to this thread then scroll down. You will see another box "additional options". There you just click on manage attachments, load a pic or two then scroll down and click submit.

Okay thanks for the help with the attachment problem. There are a couple from Jan/February when we first got him around 10-12 weeks old. And one more recent.

The adult pic looks more like a husky/Australian cattle dog mix. I see no Australian Shepherd in the recent pic at all. They may have confused Australian Shepherd with Australian cattle dog. Many people confuse the two when verbally calling out the breed.

Yeah that's what I was thinking and/or maybe a mix of some hound. I thought about doing a DNA test but I have not heard much good reviews about any of them.

You really have to research the DNA test companies before going with one. There are a couple I have heard good things from but since I breed purebreds I have had no reason to call on any of them.
