Default newbie from el Mexico

Hey there, I'm Kara. I've been living in Mexico for the past three years, working dog rescue and rehab with a few close friends! I've got a 3 year old chihuahua I rescued in Los Cabos, and a pitbull pup of about 1 year I picked up just outside Puerto Vallarta, where I continue to work today.

It's good to be here: I've been reading through some of the forums here and I like what I'm reading... it's always cool when you can connect with like minded dog people Hope I'll be meeting each of you in the coming weeks and months

A rolled up newspaper can be an effective training tool when used properly. For instance, use the rolled-up newspaper if your dog chews up something inappropriate or has a housebreaking accident. Bring the dog over to the destroyed object (or mess), then take the rolled-up newspaper and hit yourself over the head as you repeat the phrase,"I FORGOT TO WATCH MY DOG, I FORGOT TO WATCH MY DOG!"

aww, thanks guys Yes, there is a lot of work to be done over here, but progress is being made and the situation with the homeless street dogs is slowly improving. It's a pleasure to meet you.
