I found this forum while searching for hopes in finding out what kind of puppy/dog we have, as well as read through some great tips on training this little rascal, who's personality fits a min pin, but don't most dogs fall into some of those categories
We were told he was a fawn (tan) miniature pincher. Granted we didn't pay a high price, he was $60 off craigslist and a 4 hour round trip drive. We fell in love with his photo and in person, he had our hearts at 5 1/2 weeks and just larger than a soda can. We read up on the breed we were told he was in an attempt to prepare for his arrival. We aren't concerned about papers or bloodlines, just a great pet that will fit well in our family.... at that he does
Personality is loving, nuzzles into the neck, loves hugs and kisses, has these beady little eyes. full of personality and energy, gets in his moods were he will simply come up and nuzzle his snout into your neck and just love to no end. He has a blankie and he won't go to sleep unless he has his blankie and will even try to drag it around the house LOL He's got spunk and he plays the 'cute' card

We never saw the parents, as it wasn't a huge ordeal, we were told that dad was 10 pounds and mom 11 or 12.
Well Dierks is now 9 months old and a strong 23 pounds LOL
He leans on the railing and watches people. everyone loves and adores him, and the most common question we are asked almost daily (we take him everywhere) is "Oh my goodness, that is the cutest dog, what kind is he?' Well we use to say "a fawn min pin".... today I don't know what to say LOL
