Default First time small breed.

We are the happy owners of a Border Terrier, who is a perfect fit for my husband and me. His name is Oscar, and he very much fits his name. Oscar loves to go for rides in the truck, or golf cart when at the camp ground. He is very well behaved, most of the time for an 9 month old puppy. We had an Rothweiler whom we loved dearly, and after he passed I did not think that I ever wanted another dog. The proplem was that our children are grown and our home is- was a very quiet place to come into at the end of a work day, too quiet, so we deceided to bring another dog into our lives. That was a decision that we are very glad we made. He is able to go almost every where we go, but if he must stay home he has a nice pen to nap in. Hope to learn, get some ideas from this site. Thanks tmck9

Smile Welcome to the forum!

Oscar sounds like a lucky dog to have you as parents! I just wanted to welcome you as I see you have had no replies to either of your posts yet. It is the weekend and summer too --not as busy right now. And I have nothing to say on your question in your other post, I don't get my dogs groomed. But I'm sure somebody can help you as there are groomers here as well as members who do get their dogs groomed. Hope you like this forum.

Any pics to share?

Hi and welcome. I think you will find the only thing "small" about your terrier is his body size! On the inside he things he is the size of a mastiff!
