Hello!
Hello! My name is chastity, but my user name is barry,after one of my two dogs.
I have a mutt named Maisy (her mother was a mutt,her father was mutt.she is just a mutt.)
and a possible pit mix named barry,my usernamesake.
Miasy is almost 15 now, barry is only six months.
I myself am a no-kill shelter future volunteer (as in,i contacted them and am going to a seminar in a week)
I am very Pro- Bulldog of all breeds.(staffordshire mostly, but i ADORE bull terriers.) and i hope to really open the eyes of those pro breed specific laws.
It's the deed, not the breed!! (i even have a sticker on my wall that says that)
I live with my dad,and he HATES bulldogs,rotts,dobermans and dalmatians. the only reason i have barry is because i told my dad he was a german shepard...and then we brung him home and i almost had to give barry up,as it was obvious i lied.big time. but i stood my ground,and now my best friend loves to sit in his kiddy pool, staying away from non-dog friendly maisy.
maisy is very dominant and is NOT good with other dogs.I have tried to train her and have failed. I was to young to train her when she was a puppy and now it's showing.... it took her months to even go NEAR barry without trying to bite him. they seem to just accept each other now- they aren't friends. kinda like roomates that don't talk.
but i love dogs, and i know one day im gonna end up with to many of them. Barry is just the beginning! (kidding about the too many dog thing of course)
