Hello!


As you can tell by my username, I am an Australian Shepherd holic. I love Aussies to death and have been in love for a couple years.

I have an Aussie mix named Ruby. We got her off craigslist from someone in the air force. We didn't know her past but we were told she was shy. She bonded with me first so now she is very protective over me. If my dad goes to tickle me, Ruby will jump up and wrap her paws around his arm.

EDIT::--- We do think she was abused. Or at least yelled at. Cause when my dad gets on to her, he speaks loudly. He doesn't shout or speak in a negative way or anything. But when he does ... She runs and sort of cowers. Like she's hiding from him.

I won't go into very many details cause' then this post would be QUITE long! xD

She's a very smart girl. In one 15 minute training session she learned

Anyway, so that's Ruby! Onto me xD

Well, I am 16 years old. Aspiring to be a Dog Trainer/Groomer && also breed Australian Shepherds. "Your Goal In Dog Breeding should not be on making money but to improve genetics and to provide both show and pet quality puppies to loving homes." - That's my motto I live by. I am currently studying Aussie genetics and the breed standard. I have been to a Miniature Australian Show && then an Aussie show in August.
