Hi My name is Amylynne & I'm the proud Momma of 4 two legged & 11 four legged kids. We live on a 90 acre farm with my fantastic husband who loves me even tho I keep bringing home sad cases..I found this forum while looking for some advice dealing with my lastest rescues behavior issues ...which I have never dealt with before & I'd thought I'd seen just about everything...lol.... All my puppies were someone elses garbage & my treasures They're all spayed & neutered & utd with shots ect.... They get along great with pretty much anything tho they all have some quirks from their previous lives & a couple have health isssues but I adore them quirks & all....Can't wait to start reading!

Hi! Quite a big dog family and with so much variety! Thank you for rescuing!! I have only 2 dogs (all that is permitted here). Your Lacey and Sophie caught my eye--I have a Golden Retriever/cocker mix and a 'pure cocker.' But mine are older than yours--the mix is a rescue but vets figure she is 10ish--Sami--I have no background on her at all as she was a stray--I've only had her for 7-8 months..
Lol, aren't Goldens a laid back happy, smiley breed! And Max the cocker is 12+ and I have had him since he was about 8-9 wks old..

I was never allowed pets as a child so I feel the need to make up for lost time I agree about the goldies...they are fabulous family dogs! Sophie was rescued from a crack house with her 13 siblings by my brother when they were about 8ish weeks old & poor Sophie was not adopted so of course we brought her home. My Lacey is a very special girl & we'd had her since she was 18 months old (she's a cockapoo i think) she was going to be euthanised by her 3rd owner because she was very fearful aggressive...she had lived most of her short life in a garage & never was around people or other dogs .. poor baby was absolutely terrified of everyone & everything & nipped constantly. She turned out to be the most loyal loving dog I've ever encountered....she has issues still but she has come so far!
