Hi all you dog fanatics! My name's Kristen, and I'm the proud "hu-mum" of Hadley and Bradley the Doberman puppies! I couldn't resist their charms.

I wouldn't normally get two puppies at once, but Hadley and Bradley just had to come home.
Hadley is a Red and Rust female. She's by far the most energetic and outgoing of the two. She rules the roost at the moment, but the cat (Madley - hehe) is putting her in her place quite quickly!
Bradley is a little Black and Rust boy. He's more laid back and shy. He enjoyed the attention he got when we took a trip to be bank, but instead of running up to people and demanding attention *hinting to Hadley* he waited back until they came to see him. Because Hadley's the more colourful of the two, she tends to get more attention from strangers, but Bradley is my little man.
You're not meant to have favourites, but...Well. I love both my littl'uns, but have been a bit worried about Bradley lately. I've had him for a month now, which isn't long, but he's been lathargic lately. I took him to the vets with a sample of his stool, which is slightly runny and an odd colour, with a really weird odour, and we're waiting for the results. He had a bit of a bloated tummy, but the vet wasn't worried and said he'd give me a call on Monday to deliver the results! It's probably just worms, but we all want to make sure nothing's wrong.
Hadley is the pretty one, but Bradley is the popular one! Everybody in the building loves him. We live in a flat, but the pups seem to have already learned that they should wait by the balcony door when they want a wee. Some people get a bit worried when I mention the balcony and the puppies, but don't panic! I've boarded the bars with planks of wood, and they're never outside anywhere unattended.
They're both such smart little nippers, but as I suspected, training is hard. I have to wait until one of them is asleep, and the take the other into a different room, shut the door, and train then, or else they just want to play, play, play! And when I go into a different room with one of the pups, the otehr one wants to be there with me, getting the yummy foodz that mum has!
I'm not sure how I'd prevent separation anxiety. They both get an individual walk in the morning, then together in the afternoon, then alone again in the evening. The puppy who's at home alone is put into his or her crate, and I've given my trusted neighbours (and friends) a set of keys so they can get in and quiet him/her down if s/he becomes a neusance. That was the deal: if the pups become annoying, I have to move out or they have to go. Fair enough...Gladl
ey, I've had nothing but positive words said. "They were so quiet. We never hear them. Do you take them both with you? Our dog used to bark like mad. How come they're so quiet?" LOL. It appears that, only when they think something fun is happening do they bark and scream as if I'm slaughtering them.
I'm a very proud doggy mummy, and hope to get some advice from the forum as the pups age!
