Hi from Helen and my springer Fern and pup Harry. Fern is not getting on too well with Harry who has been here 2 weeks, she is putting him in his place but the noise level is high:roll:. I'm waiting for complaints as I work part time and they are home aloneI know getting a pup has been a shock to Fern and im wondering if this will all sort it self out, I do hope so. Fern is the most lovely springer and I would hate it if she was unhappy

My little female Terrier mix didnt want to have anything to do with Hunter (Min Pin) when we got him as a puppy. Nina didnt want to share us with another dog. It didnt take her long to see that he liked to play and run with her in the back yard. Now 7 and 3 yrs, they love to play together. They do like to have their own toys.:roll:

Hes a Clumber spaniel crossed with a cocker spaniel both working types, dear little fellow. Thanks for your feed back im wondering if Fern is too senior to play and hope when Harrys jabs are all sorted and hes out and about things will calm down a bit.

Is Fern active now? And how old? Nina like I said is 7 and she loves a ball, likes to fetch since she was 8wks old. She loves to play, Hunter acts like the old man sometimes,LoL. I would think if Fern is still active, she will play too.

Ferns active and enjoys her walks etc so I think she may be putting Harry in his place. Like you the toys cant be shared so lots of warning grows from Fern and also she wont allow him to sleep with her. I'm probably worrying too much and need to relax so they sort it out between them.
