My name is Kaitlyn. I live in South-Western Colorado with my husband, my daughter, my parakeet, my lovebirds, and my Autralian Shepard/Shih Tzu, Dalley. I've had him about a month. A girl at my husband's work gave him to us. He is house-broken and an absolute doll. He's becoming a really great addition to this family. I just joined this forum to get some tips and some advice from dog owners all over the world. I've been a dog owner for many years, but it's always cool to learn something new!

Welcome to I love dogs forum. I love the state your from, Ive been there a couple times, south east part. My son was stationed at Fort Carson, Colorado Springs. He also loved it there. If I had to pick a state to move to it would be Colorado. I'm from Washington State. Where my son and his wife are now stationed at Lewis/ McCord.
Its so wonderful that you have welcomed Dalley into your home and family, Im sure he will love his new dog life with you.

I went hang gliding in Colorado once. Took a two week training course and went up with an instructor. It felt like I was flying in a dog crate.
