My name is Jess -- I'm from beautiful British Columbia. Got a very full house; two roommates. Two Dogs. Four cats. It's sometimes chaos and mayhem, but I don't think I'd change it for anything.
The Dogs:
Dr. Mambo, PhD: A 17lb Pug/Shih-Tzu mix. He's my own baby -- a pet store dog that I bought before I knew better than to buy from a pet store. Luckily, the place that sold his has since gone out of business. He's got a black body, but a grey head. He's about five years old. Severely under-socialized (also, my own fault) but a sweet-heart to the people he knows. We call him Mambo for short
Nilo: Pronounced Knee-lo. He's a baby -- he'll be eight months on the 8th of November. He is a mystery mix. He's big and black. He has a small patch of white on his chest -- it looks like an upside down heart. He's tall, about 25 inches at the shoulder. He weighs around 64lbs. And he's not done growing yet.
The two of them, Mambo and Nilo, get along really well despite size differences. They play tug of war with each other. Sometimes Nilo likes to drag Mambo around by the tail. Nilo is completely ball obsessed. When we're at the park, all he wants to do is chase a tennis ball, or jump and catch it when we bounce them.
Mambo is much more content to stay on leash and trot along beside us. If there's no one using the tennis courts, I'll let him run around inside the enclosed space and chase a ball.
Anyway, that's a little about myself and my dogs
