Default Hey from N.I (northern ireland)
Hey everyone,

I'm Pap, our house is pretty crazy, there is me, my daughter, my partner, 1 pup, 1 guinea pig and three bearded dragons.
Pup is Akasha, a 6 month old Siberian husky, shes pretty small for her breed and age. She is adorable, loves to play and is always looking for attention from everyone she meets, her favourite thing is getting told shes gorgeous
We are having trouble housetraining her but she is great at learning new tricks, her newest one is giving high fives (and stealing meat from her grannies plate without being noticed).
This site has already been very helpful, and we only joined tonight!
We look forward to getting to know everyone

Hi & welcome! I'm glad you've been reading through the site. When I first joined I read for a few weeks with the thousands of topics on here.
Akasha is a beautiful name. Does it have a meaning?

A rolled up newspaper can be an effective training tool when used properly. For instance, use the rolled-up newspaper if your dog chews up something inappropriate or has a housebreaking accident. Bring the dog over to the destroyed object (or mess), then take the rolled-up newspaper and hit yourself over the head as you repeat the phrase,"I FORGOT TO WATCH MY DOG, I FORGOT TO WATCH MY DOG!"
