Default Hello from Wisconsin

Hi all,

My name's Phil, and I live in Madison WI. I have a 9-year-old Tibetan Terrier mix named Cricket, adopted from the Humane Society. Also, just last week I brought home a 11-week-old Newfoundland pup, named Bailey. Both are girls.

Smile Welcome to the Forum!

Hi! I live in WI. too--not far from Madison (My son lives there) I'm in a little burg called Cobb. Want to say thanks for adopting/rescuing your 2 girls. Always good to hear of dogs finding forever homes. Hope you like this forum.

Thanks Corky! Though to be clear, I didn't rescue my Newf pup, unless you count rescuing her from her nine littermates. I've always wanted to have a giant like a Newf, but you don't find many of them up for rescue.

I know what you mean. The rescues here turned me down for a saint bernard because I had a baby, hardwood floors, stairs and no fence. After we finally got one though, we have accrued more than our fair share of dogs. I feel like Noah. We are now up to 2 saint bernards, a great pyrenees, an aussie mutt and a boxer mix. The boxer found us, not the other way around.
