Hi everyone! This little guy is Gus. He was abandoned on the side of the road when he was about 8 weeks old. We've had him since he was 9 weeks and he is right at 14 weeks now. The vet just keeps saying lab mix, but she's not sure what else. Any ideas??

P.S. This photo was from our tacky sweater party and he had to wear one too! Also, that green thing hanging from his mouth is stuffing from a toy he destroyed.

What a sweet little boy - his sweater is not at all tacky - he's very smart!

As for his breed - he is far too young to tell. If you read the forum rules they explain that it is impossible to identify a dog's breed before six months at the earliest.

He is very cute whatever his breed(s)! Keep posting pics. as he gets older (6 months or so)--Not only want to see how he gets cuter but would love to try guessing when he is more 'developed!' Long wait I know but look at it this way----Have fun and enjoy him while he is still a puppy because in this respect--LOL, They grow up all too fast. Now he is small enough to cuddle, etc.

Oh he is adorable! You know, it's a funny thing, it doesn't make any sense but a good friend of mine's chocolate lab, Rocky, absolutely goes nuts for catnip. They have a tuxedo cat too and Rocky obliterates her scratching post and toys because he loves catnip. As a matter of fact, they even even used catnip to help train him when we was a puppy. Go figure! Nice to make your and Gus's acquaintance!

My neighbors puppy looks alot like yours, the owner says the pup has red nose pit. But the legs look a little long for the rest of the body for pit. I could and have been wrong.
