Welcome, I have a minpin, Hunter whos 3. He is also very layed back for a pin. In the winter months hes usually curled up under his blanket when were at work, on our laps at night. In the summer durring the day hes out playing in our fenced yard, when Im home hes always under foot or in our laps.He is very shy around other people, and children move way to fast for him. When Im at dog training he always stays close by. He is off leash trained. The only other dog he will play with is our mixed Terrier who is 8. And he runs the fence line with the big mastiff next door as a game of chase. He plays some times with toys, but they dont hold his interest long. He is very layed back, and well behaved. It might have been the trainning I have him in. So this might be the temperment of your dog, which is nice, which I have seen some chipins that are always bouncing off the wall. Love to see pic. of your new baby.
