Hello everybody! I found this forum by accident and couldn't wait to join! What's better than talking about your fuzzbutts with other owners? I've got two (well, technically one belongs to my fiance) with very different personalities.
Maggie is the youngest, she's the cutey in my profile picture and avatar

The vet told me she was about two years old when I scooped her up from the local pound last year, but couldn't tell me what breed she is (my fiance and I think she's half Wire-Hair Terrier and possibly half Chihuahua due to her ears lol). Originally I went looking for a medium sized dog, but when I saw her cowering in the corner so scared and all alone I immediately knew I had to save her. The first day I brought her home, she was scared of everything and everyone, so we spent the entire first day holed up in my bedroom. After a day of cuddles and pets and just one night of sleeping curled up directly beside me, she became the clingiest dog I've ever owned lol Now, a year later, she's a little more well adjusted (except around kids and strangers) and playful but still refuses to be away from me from more than a minute and won't sleep anywhere but right beside me.
Marty is our other little bundle. My fiance brought him along when he moved in and he's tons of fun. He's Pekingese and is one of the laziest dogs I've ever seen lol He's too short to jump up onto the bed, so for Christmas we got him some doggy steps, but before that he would try to jump then snort at you if you didn't notice him right away and pick him up. Once you pick him up though, he goes limp noodle on you and just kind of flops wherever you put him. He's about five years old, but is still super playful (although he can be a little stingy with toys) and is so cute with his little moosh-face. My best friend thinks he's probably the squishiest dog in existence lol
Wow, that's a lot for an introduction, sorry lol What can I say, I love talking about my babies
