Whats up dog lovers?
I am new to the forum. This is my 10 month old rescue dog Cricket. supposedly she is a Whippet, boston terrier mix (so I was told) but there is some other breed that has webbed feet mixed in, and she look to have a bit of pitbull mixed in for good measure. House broken, well behaved, does not beg when I am cooking or eating, I still haven't heard her bark in 2 weeks, loves her toys and big rawhide bone and loves to snooze whe she isn't playing. The Newark humane society said she was brought in as a stray but thats impossible. Someone must have either lied and said they were able to catch her and brought her in or someone just let her go.
I noticed some new members who's post counts are nowhere near 50 are able to post a pic, I tried and I can't.......

A rolled up newspaper can be an effective training tool when used properly. For instance, use the rolled-up newspaper if your dog chews up something inappropriate or has a housebreaking accident. Bring the dog over to the destroyed object (or mess), then take the rolled-up newspaper and hit yourself over the head as you repeat the phrase,"I FORGOT TO WATCH MY DOG, I FORGOT TO WATCH MY DOG!"

Thanks for the welcomes. I think my dog is broken lol she does not bark at all, which is kind of good, but if some maniac were to break into my house I would like some kind of heads up.

Shes only 10 mos. some dogs change and come into their own after a year. Just keep on work with that good behavior and taking her out to socialize with others. Lots of play time, and reward her good behavior with treats and verbal rewards, and you will continue to have an awesome dog. Very cute, love the ears too.
