Default Hello everyone

Hi everyone I'm new here. Let me tell you a little about myself. You can call me Lilly, I'm 21 yrs. old and I live in N.Y. state (US). We (my family) have 2 wonderful dogs. Lilly is a 9 yr. old black Pomeranian that we rescued from the local vets after her owners abandoned her there. She is an absolutely amazing little dog. The expression "big dog in a small body" fits her perfectly, she's not afraid to stand up to any dog no matter how big and let them know that she's in charge. Duke is the newest addition to our family. He's a 7 yr. old Shepherd/Rottweiler cross, that I adopted from the shelter where I work last October. Duke is a special dog in many ways, but I guess the most obvious is that he's handicapped. Actually he's paralyzed from the bellybutton down and has to be in a special wheelchair. But he doesn't let it slow him down, we go for a 3 mile every morning and after a short rest he's ready for more! Well i got 2 go now, I look forward to meeting everyone .
