I have a 13 month old german shepherd puppy and she eats Royal Canin (
http://www.royalcanin.us/). It's a good food for their skin, immune system & digestive safety (German Shepherds are prone to Bloat, which can be deadly). My vet first recommended it to me, & once your puppy is 15 months they have a special dog food just for German Shepherds. I talked to my puppy's breeder after talking to my vet & he feeds it to his adult dogs too.
When she jumps, turn so your back faces her. Then she isn't getting the attention she wants & when she calms down, you get down to her level & greet her. Make sure to greet her everytime you come home, even when she didn't jump at all, to know you will pay attention to her when she doesn't jump. If this doesn't work for her, I would recommend looking online or talking to friends-some of them may have had the same problem with their dogs, it's pretty common.
