 Rescued puppy biting son
Ten Days ago we rescued a 5 month old Bichon. Everything's fine, doing pretty good at potty training, and wonderful at crate training. But he has bitten out 9 year old son. Does not bite 11 year old daughter. When he play bites, which we tell him NO BITE, if he tries to bite her she tells him no bite and gets away from him. My son on the other hand wants to hold him and he doesn't want him to pick him up, so he growls. And eventually, you guessed it, he bit him, HARD. And he has bit him, not so bad this time, again. He has never growled or bitten me or my husband, nor daughter.
What can we do? NO BITE only seems to help short term.
