Default I'm new here and looking for dog advice

Hello! I'm new to the forums here.
I don't own a dog right now but I hope to change that very soon! I'm a soon to be University grad I really would like to get a dog after I graduate (I will be financially stable so that isn't an issue). I guess I'm just looking for a breed that would suit my lifestyle. My work requires that I spend a lot of time in the field and I'd like to find a dog to accompany me on these trips who would ENJOY a very active lifestyle and lots of time spent outdoors. I was looking at a breed called the Mudi and I was wondering if anyone here has one or knows anything more about them. I'm also open to other suggestions. It would be great if you guys could help me out!
Thanks

I'd recommend a Schipperke. They love to travel! My dog is just as happy riding in a car all day as he is playing outside - which he also loves to do! He is very protective - but it can be controlled. He has been very easy to train. He was fully potty-trained by 6 months old. The only downfall is allergies and you do have to buy special food because some of Schipperkes are allergic to certain foods. However, since you say that money is not an option, I would really really recommend a Schipperke.
