hey, I registered last night but never really formally introduced myself. My names Lauren and I live in Canada. I'm a vet technician and I work also evenings at a shelter. I have 2 dogs. My oldest is a 8 yr old (almost 8 anyways) Sib. Husky X, Baron. He was brought in to the shelter where i work by a couple who had their friends that lived next door leave him with them and they never came back. The couple was devastated but couldn't keep the dog. I fell in love with "killer", just not his name. He was very reserved and through investigations I did, I found he had been neglected. I adopted him quickly after he came to the shelter, e ven though I think he hated my guts. He isn't so much reserved anymore and very protective of me. He's hated most of my boyfriends, except for my fiance, Jamie. Jamie got me a puppy for my birthday, too, which I had been talking about doing. He got me a chocolate lab purebred, which I named Sophia. She's just a tiny little thing right now. I baby her and she even has her own stroller ( a wide jogger) that I push her in when I take her on long runs with Baron.
i also have a cat, Balloo, whose almost 15 years old.
