Hi All
I haven't been on for a wee while as I've been busy with work and shows. Loona has recently had 2 best puppy in breed at championship shows and best puppy in show at the GB club show where Beanie also won best veteran in show.
Husky 1, I regularly go on to the SSHC board but don't post very often.
is your red girl a dreamcatcher girl?
I hope you and your huskies are all well.

Does Mishka go back through the Bakerlake lines or does she go back to the Wizard? I handled The Wizard at three counties when he won his 1st CC, BOB and group 4..............I threatened to bring him back to Scotland but Terry wouldn't let me.

Hi Olympia
I had a look at your dogs and the're gorgeous....Luna looks like my Koolik only feminine. I have a dog that was imported from the US. What lines do yours come from?
Shanasdad
I have added a link to the SSHC site in an earlier post. The site has a lot of breed information and photos of dogs from the UK

Hi Susanatlasinski, Mariya, and Jonah both have the same Sire which is.
Baree's Ghostbuster En Vogue, Titles are WPD, and SD.
Mariya's Dam was Kristari's Sundance of Windsong, Tiltles CGC, & American Champion, Her sire & Dam were { BIS/BISS AM/CAN CH Kristari's Fire Cheif O' Tahluu CGC x CH Myla's Catch me if you can} Her Sire which is Mariya's Grand Sire was BIS AM/CAN Champion.
#3 Siberian in the USA for 1998
#2 siberian in the USA for 1999
Award of Merit National Specialty in 1997 & 1998
Top producer Stud dog in 2001 & again in 2003
Jonah's Dam was Kiana's Catching Fire { Timber } Title SD
We do not show our dogs, we have them for recreational sledding, Skijoring, Bikejoring, & hiking.
I wouldn't mind getting their WPD & CGC Titles, but we will see. Right now I just want to focus on sledding Jonah is showing great potential, Mariya not so much but she will go if Jonah is with her.
As for Luna I don't have any info on her as she is a pet quality siberian, and what a love she is.

Susan your dogs are gorgeous, I wonder if your boy out of Myla's catch me if you can, is My Mariya's uncle. Mariya's Dam Sundance was born Jan 11th 2000.
Susan, may I ask what you feed your dogs, we're feeding Premium edge dog food, but a friend who is an avid racer feeds Annamaet, and also is a distributer of that food, to be honest I had never heard of it til she told me thats what alot of the mushers are feeding.

Shana's dad you can go to Petfinder.com, use the shelter search to see what rescues are near you, then call them, and tell them you are willing to be a foster. By the way there is an absolutely beautiful red & white male in Bloomingdale GA that would compliment your Shana quite nicely.

Hi Olympia
I feed pedigree professional performance, I've fed pedigree for 15 years now and occasionally I try something different but my dogs never look as good and I end up back on pedigree. I recently put the oldies onto Royal canin senior but felt they lost weight and body condition and coats weren't as good so everyone's back on pedigree again and things are looking better.

Brave souls, all of you!
Hi! My names Heather, and I have 3 dogs, 1 of thems a Siberian. I don't know how you do it. My Malakhai is 3 years old, black and white and on the small side. My husband got him for me for my birthday 2 years ago and of all my dogs ( a Pit Bull and a Border Collie) he is the most difficult. The problems not that he isn't learning, he just doesn't want to listen.
I got lucky because he doesn't have any aggression problems, except getting over excited with the cats, but he loves to dig! I have holes everywhere!
I loved reading through this forum, because they are such a unique breed of dog. I don't think I could possibley handle more that 1 Husky at a time. Along with digging, no matter how much exercise he gets, he loves to escape and swim in the lake. Before it was cute, now I worry about alligators. We can't even let him in the backyard with the other dogs to play unless we're out there because he figured out that if he gets on top of the hot tub he can clear my 6 foot wooden fence.
Do any of you have any advice on handling this escape artist?
