1 1/2 year old siberian husky
I have a 1 1/2 year old female siberian husky, Keiko. She's about 50 lbs and at her last vet visit, healthy girl.
I recently saw three other huskies at the dog park who were about the same age, but looked different. Or Keiko was different. The other huskies looked like the typical breed, just like the pictures posted on this forum. Keiko looks like a husky too, but something about her is different. She is a purebred sibe, so I'm not sure what's making her appearance slightly off from other sibes I've seen. When I say off, I just mean, like, she doesn't look full grown yet, but the others were about her age. It looks like her fur still has some growing to do. Right now, she's blowing her coat, so I wonder if that's the reason why her fur looks odd? Also, I think she looks like she's in a awkward growth stage right now because her head seems to be slightly smaller than the rest of ther body, but keep in mind, she's very lean, not overweight whatsoever.
Any info you can provide on husky growth/appearance stages, would be very much appreciated.
Thank you!
