Human and animal nutrition
I'm a bit curious and thought perhaps ya'll would indulge me a bit here....
First, in way of explanation: I'm currently a master's student at the Univ. of Bridgeport's Nutrition Institute. I'll be graduating this summer and embarking on a new career as a Nutrition Coach. It has occurred to me that many of my clients' pets may be as much in need of a nutrition make-over as the client.
With that in mind, please consider responding to the poll and making any additional comments you might want to share.

Our dogs eat a lot healthier than we do. But its a lot easier to just buy a bag of kibble that is nutritious (we currently feed Halo Salmon Adult food) as opposed to my husband and I having a variety of meals. Im sure if humans ate kibble, we'd be a lot healthier

Noep my dogs are all perfect weight- eat a decent quality of food. I eat better than hubby and my cholesterol is fab but I take alot of herbal supplements and vitamins
NOW my other pets hermit crabs eat WAY better than anyone. They eat 90% all organic foods of very weird and wonderful quality. They get exotic fruits and eat very weird fishes and things I would never ever let past my lips LOLOL

LOL...humans are already eating "kibble" otherwise known as processed foods or what I like to call "food like substances".

My babies are healthier than me.... I'm the one who needs proper nutrition not them, for they always have an appetite while for me I don't eat much..

I understand that for the common dog owner visual inspection it the only practical way to assess our dog's diet, but I don't see how that's applicable to humans.
We shouldn't immediately deduce that since a person is overweight his diet is McDonald's. Heredity and medical conditions play a part too.
So sorry, none of the poll answers made sense, since, I have no idea who we're talking about, and what diet they are eating.

Me and the OH are health freaks pretty much (we eat as much organic as possible, dont eat supermarket meats, dont eat much processed foods, eat alot of raw vegetable, walk for at least 8 miles daily and so on..) and we pass that on to the animals diets aswell and give as best possible diet to all of them.
We eat mainly wild game if we do have meat but thats like, once a month as the cats usually have it lol.
I wouldn't say either of us are unhealthy and neither of us spend a long time or alot of money on diets or anything.
