I was just wondering something when I saw my post wasn't there. How come some threads require a mod to look at your posts before putting them up and others don't? ???

Good question!!! I've had this happen to 4 of mine (over a week ago and they have not made an appearance yet

And just checking things out just now (and I'm not done checking--might find more) I even think one that did make it through is now missing---go figure!!

That's weird Corky that they've gone missing. I was only asking cause I put the difference in between a Chessie and a Lab and my post wasn't there.

I guess I can understand why they want to review because maybe a poster here would type in something bad, but the sites I know that review, the posts are there within 48hrs. Not saying this site is bad, I love it actually--I was just wondering. :^/

Maybe there are a number of post counts before moderators will trust you to post new threads and topics, anyways I guess its fine to avoid spammers and trolls to lurk in these kinds of forums..

Maybe they have some kind of filter that's working to control posts and threads here, I think they have good moderation and filter in high level.

maybe the mod filter it.. i haven't encounter any problem so far..

I was going to ask the same question. Some of my posts show up and some don't. Mine haven't been showing up for the last several days. I feel better knowing it's not just me.
