Question Which would you rather have: Rats, Hamsters or Gerbils?

What do you like Rats, Hamsters, or gerbils? I have three gerbils named Flower, Yang, and Yin. I wish I could have a Rat but my Dad does not. ARGHHHH! Whats wrong with rats anyway?????.

So what's your favorite? I'd pick a rat

Frankly, none of the above. However, if I had to choose, I'd go with the hamster.

Rats are way much better pets than Gerbils, Mice, hamsters, guinea pigs...etc. Rats are smart, social and lovable. Where the others prefer to be left alone. I have never been bitten by a rat yet. I have been bitten by everything else multiple times. I own 5 rats now.

Like I said my Dad keeps me from having rats, but my gerbils never bit anyone, thier all playful, and they have learned tricks:mrgreen: here's the pics.

Tiny animal with really soft fur and big eyes that can glide through the air. You'd have to google them.

I have to agree. I own 9 rats and they are so very smart and very lovable. My girls are just like my dogs and lick us every chance they get.
Its to bad you cant have any. They really are not as bad as most people would think. I was horrified when my daughters wanted one but I broke down and got them one. Now I love them just as much as my dogs.

This is our girl Tiffany
