What is your favorite Dog or Dog and pet movie?
Curious if others share the same movies.

My all time favorite dog movie has got to be, without a doubt, Lassie! I LOVE that film. Very emotional. Tear jerker.
I also remember watching the Fox and the Hound as a kid. Homeward Bound too.
Anyone see Pet Hotel or Marlie and Me?

My favourite has to be "Milo and Otis" following the adventures of a pug and kitten. It is all live action, no humans in any of the shots and it is narrated by Dudley Moore. The first weekend we hired it from the video store we watched it 6 times - unheard of in our household!

I don't remember the name of the movie but, it was about two dogs and a cat who got separated from their family and made this long journey to get home...

The Incredible Journey.
There was an old movie of it when I was a child and a more modern remake, with a sequel. Something to do with San Francisco.
The other really cheesy dog movie I love is the first Beethoven film. Think it lost its way in the end with the later ones but Beethoven was brill!

I was trying to think of some dog movies I have seen but they kind of all run together and not sure 'what is what'! The only title that came to my mind was Ole Yeller and don't remember the story. Can you fill me in a little, Yogi?
There is a movie about a sled dog too but my mind is blank as to the title! Haven't been to the movies in years and my Tv 'connections---hardly any movies!

I haven't seen Ole Yeller either. Guess I need to check it out.

I LOVE Milo and Otis. I also love Snoopy with a passion, if Peanuts counts at all.

You are the only person I have come across who has ever heard of Milo and Otis! Glad someone else has seen it and enjoyed it. "Here comes the dog, strong and brave. Here comes the dog, your life he'll ..................."!

Really?!? I loved that movie when I was a kid! I haven't saw it for quite some time, but last week when I was at Walmart I saw it there for $5. I didn't get it, but I wish I had now! I'll have to pick it up this weekend.

Fox and the Hound and My Dog Skip. Both made me cry.
Also...does Up count? It's not really about dogs, but it has a lot of dog characters. Dug kind of stole the show for me! SQUIRREL!

I also liked All Dogs Go to Heaven, although that's another movie that makes me cry!
