First off I'd like to thank all the nice kind people who answered all of my questions. I know your time is valuable for you, so it's much appreciated.

I'm going to take a break & find other dog forums where I don't get attacked by mean spirited individuals.

I didn't come onto this forum to be accused of things, nor talked down to & abused by moderators just b/c I ask a lot of questions or have my own mind & form my opinions.

It's sad when people treat others in this manner & cause nice people to leave just b/c they are in a position of power (they own or moderate this forum).

I'm sure this thread will be deleted & even my account may be deleted b/c the people in question won't take responsibility for their actions, but that's fine, it just proves my point.

I wish all the nice people all the best & your dogs too

Sorry that you feel offended that it is ok for you to continually ask questions yet when someone asks you one, you take offense and refer to them in a negative context. Little one sided don't you think?
As much as we appreciate people asking questions, many here are here because we generally have answers but when one individual asks as many as you have it leads one to believe that maybe there is more to this than someone just looking to get a dog. You are obviously not a child nor naive and seem educated enough that many of these questions are answered in most books on dog ownership which can be found in just about any library. So it begs the question, why so many questions? People come her to ask but they also contribute. This is something I have nor anyone here has actually seen from you. I personally am hard pressed to believe someone of your age has no idea of dogs, ownership etc.
As for your post being removed, no reason. As for your account being closed, again no reason. You are more then welcome to stay but must understand that the member who inquired if you were writing a book was sincere in the request as whether you believe it or not, the questions asked are the most common ones that I have come across as a breeder from individuals writing a book on purchasing and raising a dog. The inquiry was sincere though your reply was critical which coming from someone like you actually surprised me as well as the other moderators here.
If you wish to leave and go to another forum, that is your prerogative, but don't blame anyone here. Members here have provided the answers to the best of their ability. This included the moderators, especially considering all the questions asked as if you have no idea at all about dogs before you came here to obviously through the replies from everyone, you now know more than you did before, I cannot see how anyone here at all should be singled out as doing something to hurt you or your feelings.
The fact is dog people are extremely protective and form bonds that many who do not own dogs simply have a hard time comprehending. So it is safe to assume especially with the volume of trolls and spammers that attack this site daily, we have a tendency to be a little wary especially when one new member asks so many questions that again the answers to for nearly each one can be found in one book at just about any library. I cannot apologize if you feel you have not been treated fairly here, because whether you like it or not, from a dog community stand point you have been. Maybe getting a dog and realizing the reality of ownership you will one day see how this changes your life. I went through all of your threads and I couldn't find anyone who was attacking you. Everyone was answering questions to the best of their ability and giving you their own persoanl experience on the matter. I think everyone gave very sound advice or voiced oppinions in a an adult manner. You are more than welcome to go to other forums. I post on other dog forums too. Especially about dogs that need transports or dogs that need pulled from high kill shelters that need to go to a rescue or foster home asap. You might run across me and we can chat a bit. Where exactly do you live? I might even be able to help direct you to a reputable rescue or foster in your area.

Yogi again your high & mighty tone doesn't work for me. I don't care what you believe or don't believe about my age, knowledge, etc.

I don't know you from Adam & I don't have to prove a thing to you. I know I'm an honest person & the fact that you don't believe that is your issue not mine.

If you are that cautious of people & you believe the worst in them, then I suggest you step down from being a moderator. A person of authority in a public forum online shouldn't have all these pre-conceived notions about humans, as they are dealing with people worldwide from all walks of life & I feel they should be more open minded, caring & non judgmental.

In another one of your responses to my threads, I felt you were harsh in your tone to me b/c I mentioned I was holistic & was hoping to get holistic people to weigh in on all my questions. You told me you have issues with people who are holistic & I ignored you hoping your tone & attitude would subside, but one can't change a person, so I continue to feel the same negative energy most of the time when you talk to me.

You are transferring your negative feelings about others onto me when you don't know me at all!

And no, you are the last person I'd expect to apologize. You've made that very clear to me.

Lunar, I was accused of not being on this forum for altruistic reasons. I was accused of being some reporter or writer who's just picking people's brains for information so I can write a book. I'm a member of probably close to 100 forums on varying topics & I've NEVER been accused of anything so ridiculous in my entire time online.

I have no problem answering questions & I have answered anyone who did ask me a positive question, but to me that wasn't a question at all, it was an accusation that came out of nowhere, or at the very least a rhetorical question. That tells me that the person has emotional issues they need to deal with, so I spoke my mind.

From what I'm seeing, I guess it's okay for a member to accuse & insult someone who's new of being on here for reasons other than they want to educate themselves about dogs, but when I speak my mind about their state of mind & mean spirited attitude, that's clearly not okay. Very hypocritical.

Lunar if you didn't see that comment from that member, it's probably been deleted.

Then Yogi wrote this in response to one of my last questions & I see it was deleted from the thread...

"since you are aware or at least must have already researched that most do not cover the basics, why are you asking this question? You obviously seem to know the answer. Based on the volume of questions you have asked on here it would seem to me that one that does as much questioning as you have would have already researched the pet insurance industry for yourself and already formed your own opinion as to which is best and what to look out for."

If you & others think this positive dialogue, then we have a VERY different opinion about what is negative & positive.

I make it a point not to be around people who treat me or others in this manner. To me this is a form of bullying & I don't tolerate that.

I came onto this forum to ask questions of people who have owned dogs for years who have a ton more experience than I do, so to me it's pretty logical why I wouldn't weigh in & help answer other people's questions if I'm almost a newbie myself.

If they have questions about spiritual growth, business, online businesses, communication, relationships & a few other topics, you can contact me privately & I will do my best to help.

Most everyone was kind & helpful & for that I am thankful, but I don't wish to be put in a situation of dealing with the few others that have ruined the experience. If it's still not clear why I feel there's been negativity based on what I've detailed, then nothing I say will make a difference, so there's no point in continuing. I don't want this discussion to go on & on & perpetuate more negativity.

If someone has something positive to say you can PM me, otherwise I'm just unsubscribing from this thread.
