Default Where can Oscar and I go on holiday?

Hello all!
I'm looking for some inspiration!
I have recently seperated from my partner and feel like I need a well-deserved rural break in England! Lots of long country walks and pub grub! I want to take my black labrador Oscar with me but am having some trouble finding accommodation that will allow me to bring him with me.
Does anyone have any suggestions at all? I haven't decided where we're going to go in the UK yet (location doesn't really matter) its more important to me that Oscar can come with me!

Looking forward to hearing your suggestions!

Most members here seem to be from the USA or Canada but I'm a Brit. How about Dorset? If you look at this site (Many Tears Rescue) there is a link to "Grace Cottages" dog friendly property with a portion of the cost going to the rescue: Dogs looking for homes - Many Tears Animal Rescue

But if you google "dog friendly holidays" you will find loads of info.

What sort of dog is Oscar?

He's a chocolate lab retriever.
Just had a look at the link - thanks very much! The Scottish Highland property looks fantastic but they don't think its going to be available the week that I've managed to get off work! Such a shame. I will enquire about the Dorset one later though. Dorset will perhaps be not so cold as Scotland hopefully!
Have you been to Dorset before?

We lived there for a couple of years when I was a child - my father was stationed there with the Navy. A couple of years ago my husband and I took the children there on holiday. Lots of lovely walks. The beach areas are busy but even Weymouth is not really commercialised, a real old fashioned resort. I love the south west - Dorset, Devon, Cornwall. But Wales is wonderful too - I'm in Pembrokeshire - very blessed to live somewhere that is considered a tourist destination yet very dog friendly.
