I just got an email of some 'snow' pics that are hard to believe--Taken on Jan. 5 of this year in Lead, South Dakota--near Rapid City-near Wyoming border. I would put them on this forum if it could be done and I knew how--I would! If some of you (only those I know fairly well that I don't already have your email address and have already passed the email on to------like Lange, Taming Rover, DeafDogsRule, Nattie, Ree and others I may of missed naming here) If you email me through my email address on ways to notify me --on my profile page I can forward an email to you.
Me not being the best on computer knowledge---Yogi or Luna or someone I already emailed these pics to--If there is a way to put those pics here---Please do so if you want!
Just went 'hunting' on the web for these pics and I did find 13 of them:OffGrid-Living.com: Too much snow. Jan 5, 2011 Be sure to click on each pic to get a bigger view! Nine other good pics are in the email I got that this link doesn't have!
all you need to do is put your cursor on the pic and right click. Click save as and title the pic. It will saved to your pics on your computer.

No I am not a Miniature Doberman, I was around 200 years before Karl Frederich Louis Doberman created the Dobie, and as for my friends the Manx cats, yes they are better at playing fetch than I am, I am a Miniature Pinscher. http://blackhawkkennels.webs.com/
If you google Lead/Dakota/Snow pics there is a set of photos that crop up a lot - things like a door that opens inwards onto a solid wall of snow outside and a dining room window obscured by snow, a couple in summer clothes sitting on a swing seat. There are some photos in the set that apparently were posted back in 2004. They might not be the ones that you have seen though.

Outside of a dog a book is man's best friend. Inside a dog it's too dark to read!
A rolled up newspaper can be an effective training tool when used properly. For instance, use the rolled-up newspaper if your dog chews up something inappropriate or has a housebreaking accident. Bring the dog over to the destroyed object (or mess), then take the rolled-up newspaper and hit yourself over the head as you repeat the phrase,"I FORGOT TO WATCH MY DOG, I FORGOT TO WATCH MY DOG!"
Once, just ONCE I would like to see that kind of snow! The most I've ever seen at once was 2 decembers ago, we got 18" in 36 hours... I would LOVE to see that! ..... ummm..... ONCE
I never even got a Snow Day, the entire time I was going to school :-(

York, Nebraska, has had about half of that amount of snow once. I thought that was bad! I'll remember to keep my mouth shut next time, or Nebraska may be a blizzard's next victim! :O
