A rolled up newspaper can be an effective training tool when used properly. For instance, use the rolled-up newspaper if your dog chews up something inappropriate or has a housebreaking accident. Bring the dog over to the destroyed object (or mess), then take the rolled-up newspaper and hit yourself over the head as you repeat the phrase,"I FORGOT TO WATCH MY DOG, I FORGOT TO WATCH MY DOG!"

Oooh a Kindle. My son had one for Christmas and it never leaves his side. I keep thinking I want one then I realise I could never afford the books - I buy so many second hand!

YES! You can afford books. You can borrow ebooks from your library. Just take you Kindle in there and they will tell you how to do it. After 4 or 6 weeks, the ebooks automatically delete themselves. And you can "borrow" ebooks off of other Kindle users. After a few weeks the books delete themselves. And you can go here and order discs with thoughsands of best sellers on them. They all work in my Kindle. You might need to download Calibre to change the format on a few so your ebook reader can read them, but that application is free.
