for a one off crochet model of your dog?

I've had permission from Yogi to post this. We're not selling anything, just wondering at the moment.

My cousin is a very talented crocheter (is that a real word LOL!) and she has made many dolls modelled on people she knows and they are all instantly recognisable. She is now thinking of moving on to pets, particularly dogs, and we are wondering how much people would be willing to pay for a one off?

Using the UK minimum wage she would need to charge around $80 each but we can't imagine anyone would want to pay that much.

Each dog would be between 6" - 8" high, made from high quality yarn and finished to an excellent standard.

As I say, we are only making enquiries to see if there is any sort of market for that sort of thing right now, she hasn't thought about selling anything before. We would just be very interested in your feedback and if anyone has had anything like this done before what sort of price did you pay?
