2 cats
Someone dumped 2 cats on our property. One is a black cat. The other is a black and white manx. I have been trying to catch both. They are scared though. They've been here for almost a week now. I was going to post after I caught them, but they eat the food I leave out and run. I'll use hotdogs if I see them today. I am hoping I get them. They look like very healthy kitties. The manx is FAT. He was definatly an inside kitty.

What makes you think the fat one is a Manx? I hope just you are not basing it on tail or lack of. Manx cats can have tails. In fact the tailless gene can be found in nearly ever breed of cats and more often than not the ones people think are Manx due to lack of tail are in fact not Manx cats at all. I bred Manx cats for years and the last thing we look at when determining if it is in fact a Manx is the backside...lol

I used to have a manx. She was a good kitty. His face looks just like hers. Shame I can't catch him. He didn't show up for breakfast this morning, so I called the humane society and let them know that we are looking for a black and white cat with no tail. I posted on my facebook too so anyone that's near me can help keep an eye out for him. I have grown rather fond of him.

When viewing the head, it should be round with a broad chest. Eyes large almond but can overly enlarge their eyes. Feet should be large and round not pointed. Ears should be set far apart on the sides of the head not on the top and from viewing from behind they should form a broad u shape like that on the bottom of a rocking chair. Hind quarters should be 1 1/2 to 3 inches taller than the shoulders. If the one you are looking at reflects these traits, its a Manx. Anything less and it is a mixed breed or just a cat whose carries the gene.

Well, I can't tell all of that until I find him and catch him. He could be any kind of kitty. Maybe he got his tail stuck in something. But he looks just like the manx I used to have. The one I used to have was purebred. My friend paid 800.00 for her and gave her to me when she went in the hospital. Only this one has white on him and Miss Fancy didn't.
