This is 4 different posts that I just put in another thread but in order for most people to see this info, it needed to be a new thread!---So here it is: Hope I get lots of feedback here--See what I need below--->
I will repeat/paste what I just posted a few days ago:
There seems to be a lot of problems with a lot of people in here lately---and I mean not just new members--of being able to post pics! Seems to be some kind of glitch now. It was working okay a while back. All I can do is paste this info here and hope it works for you--
If you scroll down below the post you have just made, you will see another box.
"additional options". Click on manage attachments and search your computer for the pics you want to download. Finish by scrolling down and clicking on "submit".

You do not need 50 posts in order to post pictures. And as I said before there is something in this forum that 'is screwed up!' I have not seen many pictures entered for quite some time. Evidently the programmers for the forum did something the last time they were doing some programming and caused this problem----and have not fixed it as yet----I think they can't figure out how to fix it yet!! I hope it improves soon too as I miss seeing pictures.
Okay, so I am going to check out if I can upload a picture now! The last time I uploaded a pic. was about in Jan or Feb and I haven't tried since then.
Well it is not working for me now either!! And if you go to my profile/home page and check out my albums--I had plenty of success before!
I would like to ask all/many members in here if they would all try to upload a pic---come back to this thread and reply (or show their results if it worked for you!) And how you tried uploading--Did it work from what the instructions tell you to do in this forum---See instructions above in this thread. Or did you get your photo to upload another way? Would like to get some kind of statistics ---Will forward to the Administrator the percentages as to being able to upload or not. Actually it would also be good if each of you contacted the Administrator and tell him of all these failures. If he sees how big a problem this is --maybe something will finally be done!!!----- In order to get on his profile page in order to contact him-----Go to the blue strip across the top of the Page(s) and see all the white words--find Community and click it---In the box, click members--then the A of the alphabet there--Scroll down about 2/3 -3/4 the page and find Admin and click that word and you will be in his profile/home page. From there find Contact Info--click it and then click private message!

Hey! no kidding--Was in another forum and wasn't even looking for this info. I am not that computer savy--Oh yeh, I know my way pretty good in this forum but have been here nearly 3 years! Anyway will this help--You will have to ignore the name of that forum and think I-love-dogs instead! Give some feedback please as it may help others who are having problems!----> Hi All,
I know how to attach photos as attachments but how do you post a photo in the body of the post along with the text?

Kosuzu

To put an image inline with the post, like this:
http://gallery.zeussdoghouse.com/users/159_1_tmb.jpg
The image needs to be on the web someplace. One place some people use is Photobucket (Image hosting, free photo sharing & video sharing at Photobucket). Pretty sure once you upload an image there, it will give you the text to put in the post to allow the image to be shown.
If you have some other place you can host the image (some Internet Providers give a certain amount of space), you can put it there, and just link to it. If you know what the url to the image is, you can use the instructions here (Miniature Pinscher forums—PawPals - vB Code List).

Ahhh, so that is how it's done! Thank you gcomer for the info.

I just did another test--and it seems to work--No pic yet but it is pending approval so am hoping that means it 'went through!' But this is putting pictures (or even just one--if you want to just try it--you can always add to the album at another time)--Putting in an album. It will take a few days to get the pic(s) approved but if you get that message-pending approval--Well we can hope at this point it means the pic(s) 'got through!' Your album(s) will be put on your profile page--BUT DO NOT CLICK ON THE BLUE WORDS to the right in your profile page!! I and at least one other member did this and it 'froze' us out --can't get in to them now from our profile page. Now we have to go to the word--Dog Pictures in that blue strip across top of page(s) in order to view our album---We can't see anyone else's either!!! There are a couple ways for us to see our pics but it is more time consuming and maddening.
Anyway try this: Go to blue strip that goes across top of page(s) in this forum---Find the white words-Dog Pictures--click it and click words upload photos to the upper right---and follow instructions. And hey! Once you get photo(s) in your album--You may be able to upload any of them to a post you start by doing the original instructions and uploading from your album--not sure but experiment if the album pics go through---Looks promising --Got 'my fingers crossed!'
And once again---Feedback everybody---Let's hope we get something working!!!
