At very first glance, what came to mind to me was a old pumpkin or squash that had started to root from the seeds inside. Cool it thats what it is.

A rolled up newspaper can be an effective training tool when used properly. For instance, use the rolled-up newspaper if your dog chews up something inappropriate or has a housebreaking accident. Bring the dog over to the destroyed object (or mess), then take the rolled-up newspaper and hit yourself over the head as you repeat the phrase,"I FORGOT TO WATCH MY DOG, I FORGOT TO WATCH MY DOG!"

This thing is the size of a bowling ball right now. It weighs about 9 pounds.

That is the bulb to my voodoo lily. It is supposed to reach the size of a basketball. I use a horse trough now for a planter for it. Ryan was surprised about how big it get this year. When I planted it, it was only the size of a baseball and weighed about a 1 ½ pounds. Now it's the size of a bowling ball and weighs just over 9 pounds.

It really is. Next year it will probably reach basketball size. It normally takes about 4 years for them to reach that size. A bulb that size produces a 6 foot flower. I can't wait to see if mine blooms this year. I'll take pics if it does. It stinks to high heaven when it blooms.
