Fall
I just love this time of year. Cool mornings, warm sunny days, long walks with the dogs to see all the leafs changing beautiful colors of orange and reds. I just got done plantting fall pansys (about 4000 of those pretty little faces) and spring bulbs. The holidays that are nearing for family gatherings.
Whats your favorite time of year?

I can honestly say that I like them all.
Spring - because the grass, leaves and flowers all start to grow again.
Summer - because of swimming, camping, BBQ, and of course the sun.
Fall - the color of the leaves, cooler temps, kids go back to school.(oops )
Winter - the beautiful white snow, having the fireplace on w/ hot chocolate, and of course Christmas!!

I prefer mid to late spring and early summer---Lol, I say it that way because here in Wisconsin you never know most of the time from one day to the next how drastic the weather can change! And mid to late spring is usually time to start gardening.

It's been raining here for two days. Can't say that I like it.

Getting a 'whiff' of what is coming soon----Very cold and very windy and no sun here today--looks like rain but nothing yet. A few snowflakes a possibility this week yet. One of the things I looked forward to when I retired was not having to get up at 4 am and try to get to work through snow or ice and cold weather--and no snow plows out that early! But I still have to think about 2 of my daughters who have to do it. One is a rural mail carrier!--A least she carries a cell phone for emergencies! Now if I lived in a warm climate, I might like winter! I tend to hibernate as much as I can in winter but still not warm as I keep my thermostat on 58 degrees to save on heat bills and my 2 furry dogs like the cool. But I sure wish my rescue, Sami didn't like to go out the doggie door all the time!

I'm like Dogs Rule, love all the seasons EXCEPT that winter seems to hog 6 months of the freakin year. WTH? I'm sick of it by the end of January.
lol C/M if we had a doggie door Kuma would be doing rounds 24/7.

A rolled up newspaper can be an effective training tool when used properly. For instance, use the rolled-up newspaper if your dog chews up something inappropriate or has a housebreaking accident. Bring the dog over to the destroyed object (or mess), then take the rolled-up newspaper and hit yourself over the head as you repeat the phrase,"I FORGOT TO WATCH MY DOG, I FORGOT TO WATCH MY DOG!"

I love autumn. It's deffinately my favourite time of year with all the pretty colours and fallen leaves to play in. I love it so much that I'm getting married outside in it next year. Paws is still a little uncertain, too much rain in autumn for his liking, I think he prefers Spring, but I haven't had him long enough to confirm it :P
