Why are we getting our food from China? Do you know that human waste is used to fertilize any food grown in China? The FDA should ban any food from China.

Geez! I knew about them using human waste for fertilizer but forgot about it. Ugh! Thanks for reminding me. And to think of about all the e coli problems in the news right now in Europe ---It is a new very dangerous strain and they still haven't figured out where it came from---The whole world is worried about this new strain. Ironic but there is a strain (There are many strains and most aren't harmful--although this strain has not been named--suppose to be a meeting about it tomorrow.) I am talking about e coli has been found in the drinking water in my home town--Mineral Point, Wi. Most of my family live there. They were told to boil their water, etc.
But, getting back to 'toxic' crumby China---It makes you wonder about how much the government here is protecting us from disease, etc. I have read that the people in China are even leery of their own food--that their government doesn't seem to care about their own food supply. I bet greed (and I'm talking about our government here too!) has a he*l of a lot to do with allowing this crap in this country! Using human or other kinds of waste to grow things is really asking for trouble! We need to take it upon ourselves the extra steps to avoid contamination from this food from "I don't care countries!" I will not allow food from China in my house for me or my dogs!! Nor any of their poisonous lead covered toys, etc.

I don't want anything from China touching my dogs or people & even MOST especially if it's food related! I'll pass!
This forum has opened my eyes on so much even beyond dogs... :/ I always appreciate all the info passed on in here. You guys are great!

A rolled up newspaper can be an effective training tool when used properly. For instance, use the rolled-up newspaper if your dog chews up something inappropriate or has a housebreaking accident. Bring the dog over to the destroyed object (or mess), then take the rolled-up newspaper and hit yourself over the head as you repeat the phrase,"I FORGOT TO WATCH MY DOG, I FORGOT TO WATCH MY DOG!"

We're just a group of people who love our doggies and are friends because of it.
We may disagree about everything else, but we do love our doggies.

The common denominator here...must love dogs! And probably having a bit of thick skin wouldn't hurt on here either cause you all can be rough.

Be very careful about buying cheap toys as these generally come from China and I don't trust them one bit!
