This made me smile - it reminds me of a story a friend often tells.

He and his wife adored their dog and as well as feeding him on human food they allowed him to lick their plates before washing them up. His mother in law was up in arms and said "That is so unhygenic! Think of all the diseases that can spread!"

My friend replied "Really, there's no need to worry. We've always let him do it and he's never been ill in his life!"

I like your signature Dogs Rule. Run with the big dogs. I have big dogs and it's like Pamplona. You really should try it.

Do you mean try running with the bulls or try running with the big dogs?

You can try both if you wish. Getting run over by either animal feels about the same.

I picked up ringworm from a stray kitten I took in back when I was in my 20's. We both recovered nicely and the cat lived to a ripe old age.

Ringworm is a fungus and you can get it from your shower too if you don't wash it regularly.
