happy zombie day
We couldn't find zombie valentines so the next best thing was my son making a zombie cake. He does way better on paper but cake decorating takes practice.
And here;s one of Kuma since it's been awhile..

A rolled up newspaper can be an effective training tool when used properly. For instance, use the rolled-up newspaper if your dog chews up something inappropriate or has a housebreaking accident. Bring the dog over to the destroyed object (or mess), then take the rolled-up newspaper and hit yourself over the head as you repeat the phrase,"I FORGOT TO WATCH MY DOG, I FORGOT TO WATCH MY DOG!"

Plenty left over! Let me know when to expect you.
Thanks on Kuma She's turning out nice, a little LONG and crazy looking but beautiful in my eyes. It's really hard capturing her on camera.

Here is one for you.
Next year, if you don't find what you want at the store, you can find what you like online and print it off.

LOL! You found one! You'd think they'd be a little easier to come by.

You must be spoiling him. Kuma doesn't much like the camera,, she tends to look away from it. Wrigley can't sit still when I take his. He turns out blurry.

You can find it online and print it off next year rather than trying to find it in the store.

Kuma has long hair?
This goes to show what I know about Akita's. I didn't know that they came in two coat lenghts. I have only seen 1 Akita in person and the rest in pictures, and they all have had short hair.
OMG, she is beautiful.
Love the furry fuzzy pups.

Unfortunetly the AKC considers the long coat to be a fault..I really wish they would except them because they really are beautiful..

Yes, most breeders won't breed for them but you'll have them pop up occasionally with the recessive gene. I just hate the extra grooming, one of the pro's of owning the akita was the easier maintenance...NOT! lol Kuma didn't look to be a lc when she was a pup but she started turning pretty quiklky once I got her. You can see the development in her photo album. But most pups you can tell by 8 weeks if they are woolie or normal. Funny thing is not all long coats are the same either. Lengths differ and I think even texture. Kuma is soft as spun cotton except for the fur running down her spine. It's coarse & thick..strange.
