Default I need some advice on the do's and dont's of starting a dog rescue.?

I have the time, the devotion, and the heart to pull it off. But I am unsure what the laws are, and I would greatly appreciate some sound advice on places to look towards for help, and advice. Thank You.

FInd a rescue near you (there are probably more than a few) go there and ask about time, space, food, pens, general cost. Then go to the local pound and ask about the laws governing rescues in your area.

You go girl! This is something I had always hoped to do .I actually did do my own rescue for a few months by pulling dogs from our humane society on the day they were to be euthanized and finding them GOOD homes. The problem was lack of funds and not enough structure. I ran out of homes for the little lives I was trying to save. I ended up w/ 4 German Shepherds And a wolf dog and my husband, son and myself living in a mobile home.Give it your best shot and God bless you for your kind heart.I will be happy to help you in any way I can.You can reach me at> shepherdspaw@yahoo.com> if I can help.
