Our adopted male Australian Cattle Dog came home a week ago from the dog shelter with Kennel Cough also had shots and neuter, 8 days ago. Drinks his water wags his tale but hasn't eaten anything in 3/4 days. On antibiotics, what’s the best way to help this dog. Thanks in advance

I'm fostering 2 rescue puppies that came to me with kennel cough; here's my advice:Keep giving the meds, plenty of water and try giving him a peanut butter sandwich. I know it sounds weird, but it worked for my puppies. I think the puppies antiboitics made them sick to their stomach. You could also try some wet food, or even some of that "vita-gravy" that you pour over wet food.Don't be too concerned about getting him on a steady diet right away; he'll warm up to you.
