find one at our local shelters? We recently lost our beloved pom(rescued) but I rescued it from the rescuer. (relative problem). I want to give it to my stepson for his birthday in May. I live in Connecticut and am willing to at least travel the tri-state area. How do I start? Bichon Rescue? Do I have to look for a specific breed? My area? I've got no idea where to start, any information will be most appreciated!

I visited the local pounds every week for a year, I found mine.So keep going to the pound until you find yours !

Contact some breeders, they may have a retired show dog they need to rehome!!!
