Default please help, need help with my dog and another dog i have rescued?

Ok, i have 2 dogs ( a female yorkie and a male chihuahua ) the newly divorced neighbor has a dog / said i can have him. He is such a great dog, and i would love to keep him and give him a good home. Problem- My yorkie is fine, but my male chi. tried to attack him , actually jumped on him, bit his back ( only got fur ) is this a male thing? Mine is not neutered, would this male dominant thing go away if i have him fixed. The other dog is on a chain ( yuck ) in the back. My dog does not go after him , until i pay attention to the other dog. Can i change this behavior??? I really want to keep the other dog, and give hime a better home besides being chained outside / he is great with the kids, trained, and oh so cute! ( you wont believe this ) accidental breeding - siberian husky mom and father was a yorkie. Can anyone please give me some ideas, i am moving soon, and would like to take him with me. please anything!!!!

you need to correct your chi when he does this and if it don't work take him to a trainer they may help.

It's a jealousy thing. My male yorkie gets mad and starts biting my other male dog when I pet him. He even gets mad when I pet my female dog. Swat your dog that is doing the attacking with a newspaper on the rear(not hard) the noise scares them. And firmly say NO. You may want to get him neutered also because it sounds like a dominance thing, which may not change if he is overprotective of you. Do you got pics of your husky/yorkie? I would like to see him...

You should introduce the chi gradually to the new dog. The Chi is probably jealous of the newcomer because he is entering his territory. Try and play with both of them at the same time. Unless you plan on breeding the Chi, you really should have him neutered because this will make him more mellow. Try and share your affection with both at the same time and be firm with the chi when he becomes aggressive.
