Lightbulb Mini Pin in need of home in San Diego, CA...

My name is Jessica and I live in San Diego, CA. I need help with finding a good & loving home for my 5 yrs old Spayed female min pin. Her name is Piper and I rescued her from a Miniature Pinscher Rescue in April of 2003.

Unfortunately, I am not able to provide her with enough play and cuddle time . She's a SUPER intelligent girl. Piper is full of energy and loves to play and run around, especially with other dogs her size. Piper is a larger than norm Min Pin. She weighs in at 13 lbs. and 13 oz. I lover her to death, but I feel bad that I'm doing that great of job to keep her happy. She is very friendly and is a sucker for cuddling beside you with her blankie. However, Piper does not take to younger children well due to her bad experience at her foster home with 5 young kids in the house. I much rather a home that has other dogs that way she can have some company. She's not a fan for being alone. I really care for her and I want nothing but the best for my girl.

She has no major health issues. She's is up to date with her shots. She does get along with cats. We have two 10 yrs old cats, and they've always gotten along with no issues whatsoever.

If anyone is interested don't hesitate to write back.

-Piper & Jessica

If you got her from a Miniature Pinscher rescue such as IMPS than there is an agreement you signed that if you cannot keep the dog you must return to them. Most rescues have these in their contracts. I would suggest reading yours to be sure to avoid any legal issues.
There is a breeder in San Bernadino that takes in Miniature Pinschers and finds new homes for them. She can be reached at 909 887-3703. She may be able to help you if need be.
Otherwise if you are looking seriously for another home for her, I would suggest placing an ad with an adoption fee stipulating a home visit to ensure she goes to a safe home. Fenced yard and good location. Allow a chance for the dog to visit to see how she interacts with potential new people in their homes.

No I am not a Miniature Doberman, I was around 200 years before Karl Frederich Louis Doberman created the Dobie, and as for my friends the Manx cats, yes they are better at playing fetch than I am, I am a Miniature Pinscher. http://blackhawkkennels.webs.com/
