Im so sad and upset, and Im not sure what to do~!!

I just started working with Animal Rescue here in S. Cali, like a few months ago, so I dont have a lot of contacts, but Im in a horrible situation!!

We found a stray outside our work 5 days ago, beautiful all white Jindo (didnt know this breed, had to look it up!! Rare)

We tried for over 6 hours to rescue her and I have a collar in my car just in case i see a stray!!! Traffic was getting bad so I called the Orange County Animal Control so she wouldnt be hit by a car.....and they took her to a HIGH kill shelter in Orange, CA.

They would not give me any info until yesterday and today she is to be put down "b/c she is shy and limping"...she wasnt limping when I saw her...maybe she did get hit??

Im so upset...should I have even called? They cant put her up for adoption b/c she doesnt have the perfect temperment...Ive called all the rescue groups, ect...Im not sure what to do now.

Ive just started wanting to get into animal rescue and it seems like a horrible start...Im sure everyone goes through this, but I feel so horrible that I am the one that is causing her death...it is killing me!!

She is Beautiful!! all white!! My rescue Beagle wasnt put down b/c he was shy and scarred and he is the BEST dog ever...now this girl doesnt even get a chance!!
